SIGNED CHRIS BROWN FOR TENDER 'ELEPHANT SCOOTER' PRINT BANDANA

Tender's project with Chris Brown for Spring/Summer 2012 mainline Tshirts has also led to this bandana. This is an artist's proof, and is a one-off. Each of the three illustrations is signed by Chris himself.

Chris Brown lives and works in London as an illustrator and printmaker. His work has been displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and at the Royal Academy of Arts, and he teaches at Central St Martins (where he was my tutor), and at Liverpool School of Art. Chris has recently published An Alphabet Of London, (Merrell, 2012)

The bandana is cut, and sewn in England, from cotton calico woven in England. A special 'red blanket' Tender Elephant label is sewn into the corner. The illustration, from an original lino cut, is screen printed by hand with water-based ink.
